Located in Addison, TX, the world headquarters was founded on September 13, 1963 by Mary Kay Ash; developed the company because she discovered a cream that actually made her skin look and feel great. Mary Kay Ash decided to create a new path for women during a time when it was predominately a male business world. She knew that the rationale of the dream to own her business was huge because she believed that each independent distributor should have an unlimited potential for success.
